Dynamite News Delhi Elections 2025: Riots accused to campaign under police custody, check all details

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Tuesday approved six-day custody parole to Ex-AAP councillor and Delhi riots accused Tahir Hussain, who is contesting on AIMIM ticket, to campaign for the Delhi Assembly Elections.
According to Dynamite News correspondent, a three-judge bench of Justices Vikram Nath, Sanjay Karol and Sandeep Mehta allowed Hussain to campaign under police custody between January 29 and February 3.
Hussian fighting from Mustafabad seat
As per the Apex Court order, the AIMIM candidate will be allowed to campaign for 12 hours a day in Mustafabad constituency.

The bench said his custody parole would be subject to the deposit of Rs 2.47 lakh per day as part of security expenses.
The court also said that the security expenses for the next four days need to be deposited in advance.
Earlier on January 22, Hussian was not abled to get interim bail as a two-judge Bench of Justice Pankaj Mithal and Justice A Amanullah delivered a split verdict on his plea.
