New Delhi: The counting of votes for all the 70 Assembly seats began this morning with extra tight security at all the counting centres, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
The early trends of counting are expected within two hours and resluts may be out by afteroon.

Voting for the Delhi Assembly elections was done on Wednesday, after highly charged campaign by all players.
While the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is eyeing a third straight term, banking on its governance record and welfare schemes, the BJP and Congress look for a resurgence.

According to the Delhi Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), 1.56 crore voters were eligible to cast their ballots at 13,766 polling stations. This includes 83.76 lakh men, 72.36 lakh women, and 1,267 third-gender voters.
The Delhi election was a high profile three-way contest with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress in the fray.

Delhi Chief Minister Atishi expressed confidence of AAP's victory in the elections.
The AAP, led by Arvind Kejriwal, won the last two Delhi Election in 2015 and 2020. Before AAP, the Congress was in power in Delhi for 15 years. The BJP has not been in power in Delhi for 27 years.
Latika Dikshit, daughter of Ex-Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit, said Sandeep Dikshit ran a very clean campaign.
