Delhi: Cong picks Alka Lamba from Kalkaji constituency against CM

New Delhi: The Congress has pitted Ex-Delhi MLA Alka Lamba from Kalkaji constituency against Delhi Chief Minister Atishi in the upcoming Assembly elections.
“The Central Election Committee has approved the candidature of Alka Lamba as Congress candidate to contest the forthcoming general election to the Legislative Assembly of Delhi from 51 - Kalkaji constituency, the grand old party said in a statement.

Currently, Lamba is the president of the All India Mahila Congress.
She left Cong in 2013
She had also joined AAP in 2013. She quit the AAP and rejoined the Congress in 2020.
