Delhi Airport Roof Collapse: Experts committee to inquire into incident, claims Minister Naidu

At least one person was killed and six others injured when a portion of the roof of the Terminal-1 collapsed on cars amid heavy rain this morning. Read further on Dynamite News:



New Delhi: The Union Minister of Civil Aviation Ram Mohan Naidu, on Friday, arrived at the IGI Airport to take first hand information about the roof collapse incident on Terminal-1 and to oversee the relief work. 

When Dynamite News asked him about the inquiry into the mishap, Ram Mohan Naidu said that an experts copmmittee will soon be set up to look into the whole matter.

At least one person was killed and six others injured when a portion of the roof of the Terminal-1 collapsed on cars amid heavy rain this morning. 

All flight operations from Terminal 1 are temporarily suspended till further notice, said the Ministry of Civil Aviation.

"Heavy rain in early morning today has resulted in the collapse of the canopy of Delhi Airport Terminal 1. As a result of which flights to & from Terminal 1 have been closed till further notice. Alternate arrangements are being made for the smooth operation of the flights," read the statement from the Ministry.
