Delhi: AAP councillor Priyanka Gautam joins BJP

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party's Councillor Priyanka Gautam, along with her supporters, on Wednesday joined the BJP ahead of the Delhi Assembly Polls. 

Besides, Dharmveer Singh, Ex- councilor from south Delhi and a leader of the Gujjar community, also joined the BJP.

These leaders joined the saffron party in the presence of Union Minister of State Harsh Malhotra.

Malhotra slammed Kejriwal for ‘failing’ to not fulfil his promise of providing Rs 1,000 to women in Punjab. 

“It has been two years since AAP formed government in Punjab, but they have not given a single rupee to the state's women,” he further said.
The development comes ahead of Delhi Assembly polls which are due in February next year.
