Decision on CM's post will be taken tomorrow: Ajit Pawar

Mumbai: NCP (AP) chief Ajit Pawar on Wednesday said that discussions over the government formation and Chief Minister's post will be hold in the national capital on Thursday.
He said BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis and caretaker Chief Minister Eknath Shinde will also reach Delhi.
All three of us (Fadnavis, Shinde and Ajit Pawar) are coming to Delhi tomorrow. Further discussions will be held there. Discussions on the formation of the government with a CM and two deputy CMs will be held there," Pawar told reporters.

Earlier in the day, amid uncertainty over Chief Minister face following a landslide win in the just-concluded assembly polls in the state, Maharashtra Chief Minister and Shiva Sena Chief Eknath Shinde said that BJP high command would take the final decision on the CM's post and that he would accept any candidate from Mahayuti as CM.

He also expressed his gratitude to the voters for Mahayuti's landslide win in the recently-concluded assembly polls.
BJP-led NDA registers historic win
Shinde resigned as Chief Minister on Tuesday following Mahayuti's landslide victory in the Maharashtra Assembly Elections in which the alliance won 230 out of 288 seats. Currently, Shinde is a caretaker CM.
