Dalai Lama's security upgraded following intelligence reports

New Delhi: The government has provided a Z-category security cover to Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama owing to potential security threats to him.

According to Dynamite News correspondent, the Central government has granted the 89-year-old a uniform security cover following a review by central intelligence agencies.

Z-Category Security Cover
Now, he will get Z-category security cover. The Dalai Lama will get over 30 security personnel, including armed static guards stationed at his residence in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh.
