Nagpur: Following the violence in central Nagpur, the administration has imposed curfew in some areas and also issued prohibitory orders to maintain law and order.

According to officials, protesters clashed with police, leading to stone-pelting and arson.

The violence had started when Hindu outfits, like Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal, demanded the removal of the emperor Aurangzeb's tomb in Sambhaji Nagar.
