CRPF personnel can now directly approach DG for their concerns

CRPF Chief GP Singh introduces a groundbreaking open-door policy, allowing any officer or soldier to directly request a meeting with him via email (dg@crpf.gov.in). This ensures transparency, faster grievance resolution, and equal access for all ranks—a major shift from the previous restricted system.

New Delhi: The chief of CRPF (India’s biggest paramilitary force), Mr. GP Singh, has made a new rule. Now, any officer or soldier in the force can directly talk to him about their problems. Earlier, only a few people got this chance, but now everyone can apply for a meeting.

Anyone who wants to meet the DG (Director General) must email him at dg@crpf.gov.in. No one can stop these requests. Every email will get a chance. The DG will decide if the meeting will be in-person or video call. After the meeting, the DG’s orders must be followed within 7 days.

Earlier, only a few selected people could meet the DG. Many soldiers (especially lower ranks) felt their problems were ignored. Some officers used to filter requests, but now no one can block a meeting.

If high-ranking officers (like Commandants) want to meet, two senior officers (IG Pers & ADG HQ) must also be present. For private meetings, the DG will decide based on the issue.

This is a huge step for CRPF soldiers. Now, no matter their rank, everyone’s voice will be heard. As soldiers can speak directly without fear and every request gets a fair chance.
