COVID-19: India records 17,073 new cases in last 24 hours

New Delhi: India has registered 17,073 new Covid-19 cases during the past 24 hours, the Health Ministry said on Monday.
According to the bulletin issued by the Health Ministry, the total caseload rose to 4,34,07,046 while the death toll rose to 5,25,020 as 21 more succumbed to the disease.

On the other hand, 15,208 people recovered from the disease, taking the tally to 4,27,87,606. The recovery rate stands at 98.57 per cent.

The active caseload stands at 94,420, the figures showed.As per the bulletin, 86.10 crore tests for Covid-19 have been done so far.
