Patna: There is a political uproar in Bihar. On Thursday, the police detained Congress leader Kanhaiya Kumar, who was protesting outside the CM residence, in Patna. Friday is the last day of his yatra.

According to the Dynamite News correspondent, along with Kanhaiya Kumar, more than 30 Congress leaders and workers including Youth Congress National President Udaybhan and Bihar State President Garib Das have been detained by the police. At the same time, the police have also used water cannon on the Congress workers.

Patna Police had stopped the Congress workers near Rajapur Bridge before the CM House. They were trying to move forward by jumping over the barricades.

The police tried a lot to convince them, but when they did not agree, they used water cannon to disperse them. Even after this, when the protest did not calm down, many leaders including Kanhaiya Kumar were taken into custody.

According to the information, Kanhaiya Kumar has been taking out 'Palan Roko-Naukri Do' Yatra for the last 26 days. Under this yatra, he is reaching different districts of Bihar with other workers.

On Friday, his padyatra reached Patna. During this, all the workers were moving forward to surround the residence of CM Nitish Kumar, then the police stopped everyone at Rajpur bridge. There was a lot of ruckus between the police and the workers.

Every day big Congress leaders are joining Kanhaiya Kumar's 'Palayan Roko-Naukri Do' Yatra. Recently Congress MP Rahul Gandhi had reached Begusarai. Today Sachin Pilot has joined this padayatra in Patna. Due to the police stopping the march, there was a ruckus in the padayatra. Many workers have been taken into custody by the police.
