New Delhi: Chief Justice of India (CJI) Sanjiv Khanna has reconstituted all the 26 Committees of the Supreme Court of India, reports Dynamite News correspondent. 

The main objective of the reconstitution of the Committees is to bring transparency and decentralisation. 

Two important Committees 
However out of these 26 Committees, two Committees are very important as they play an important role in Judicial Reforms and Reduction of Pendency of cases. 

One of these two Committees will comprise four Judges of Supreme Court. 
1. Justice B.R. Gavai 
2. Justice Abhay S. Oka 
3. Justice P.S. Narasimha 
4. Justice K.V. Viswanathan

The subject matter of this Committee includes ‘Model Case Flow Management Rules for Supreme Court of India’. The Committee will also suggest a plan for reduction of arrears in the Apex Court. 

The other important Committee will comprise three Judges of the Supreme Court. 
1. Justice Abhay S. Oka 
2. Justice Vikram Nath 
3. Justice Dipankar Datta

The subject matter of this Committee includes ‘Model Case Flow Management Rules for Trial Courts, District Appellate Courts, High Courts’. The Committee will suggest a plan for reduction of arrears in the High Courts and District Courts.
