Beijing: At least 38 people were killed and two were injured in a fire that broke out in a workshop in Anyang city of Henan province, Chinese state media said, with authorities blaming workers for illegal welding.

The fire broke out on Monday afternoon at about 4pm local time (08:00 GMT) and took firefighters about four hours to extinguish.(Agencies)
