Chhattisgarh: Infant killed, dozens injured after bus rams into truck in Mahasamund

A six-month old infant was killed and over 40 bus passengers injured in Mahasamund road mishap.

Mahasamund: In a tragic accident, an infant killed and more than 40 people were injured after the bus they were in rammed into a stationary truck in Mahasamund district on Friday, police said. 

According to Dynamite News correspondent, the mishap occurred on the National Highway-53 in Saraipali town.

The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital. The police have reached the spot and started the investigation into the matter. 

Bus going to Puri
The ill-fated bus was going from Durg to Odisha's Puri district.
