Chhatisgarh: Naxals kill villager on suspicion of being "police informer"

A villager in Chhattisgarh was allegedly killed by Naxals on the suspicion of being a "police informer" near Minpa village, Superintendent of Police, Sukma Kiran Chavan said on Friday. Read further on Dynamite News:

Sukma: A villager in Chhattisgarh was allegedly killed by Naxals on the suspicion of being a "police informer" near Minpa village, Superintendent of Police, Sukma Kiran Chavan said on Friday.

The deceased has been identified as Korsa Kosa, a resident of Silger village. He was working and living in Andhra Pradesh. His family said that he was kidnapped by Naxals from Palaguda in Bijapur a few days ago when he went to visit his wife and family. 

As per information, the Naxals killed him using a sharp weapon.

Upon receiving information, forces from Chintagufa Police Station went to the spot and recovered the body.

Post-mortem would be done at Dornapal Community Health Centre.

Further investigation is underway.

In July, a man was allegedly killed by Naxalites on suspicion of being a police informer in Chhattisgarh's Narayanpur district.

According to Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Narayanpur Hemsagar Sidar, the Naxals killed a village man after suspecting him to be a police informer in Village Rohtad of the Narayanpur district.

The information about the incident was received by the police at the Chhotedongar police station limits in Narayanpur district. (ANI)
