New Delhi: Amandeep Garg (IAS: 1999: HP), Additional Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, has been entrusted with additional charge of Chairman, Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
Amandeep Garg will hold the additional charge of Chairman, CPCB till the appointment of a regular incumbent.

Apex organization
The CPCB is the apex organization in India for pollution control. It is a technical wing of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC).
