Cabinet approves 2% increase in DA for Govt employees

New Delhi: The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, approved a 2% increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) for Central Govt employees, reports Dynamite News Correspondent.

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw informed that the government raised the DA by 2 per centage points for central government employees, raising it from 53% to 55%.
He added that it will come into effect from January 1.
