Dehradun: Senior IAS officer of 1992-batch Anand Vardhan has been appointed as the next Chief Secretary of Uttarakhand.
Vardhan is expected to take charge as Chief Secretary of the state on 1 April.

Anand Vardhan will take over from 1988-batch IAS officer Radha Raturi, whose extended tenure as Chief Secretary ends on March 31.
Vardhan, who is currently serving as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), is the most senior officer in the state’s IAS cadre after Ms Raturi.
