35 Joint Secretary-Level Officers have been appointed in the Central government on Friday. Read the full report of Dynamite News:
New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the 35 appointments of officers at Joint Secretary and Joint Secretary equivalent level in Central government on Friday.
Here the full list:
(1) Appointment of Muktanand Agarwal, IAS (RJ:2008), as CEO (JS level), Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojna (PMFBY), Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, for an overall tenure of 5 or until further orders. He will replace Ritesh Chauhan, IAS(HP:2005).
(2) Appointment of Prajakta L Verma, IAS (MH:2001), as Joint Secretary, Department of Atomic Energy, for an overall tenure of 5 years or until further orders. He will replace Ajay Ramesh Sule, IDAS (1993).
(3) Appointment of Lakhpat Singh Choudhary, IRSS (1997), as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Coal, for a tenure upto the date of his superannuation on 31.12.2029, or until further orders. He will replace Nagaraju Maddirala, IAS (TR: 1993);
(4) Appointment of Saket Kumar, IAS (BH:2009), as Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce, for a combined tenure of 7 years or until further orders.
(5) Appointment of Satinder Kumar Bhalla, ITS (1992), as Secretary, North Eastern Council Secretariat under the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region, for a tenure upto the date of his superannuation or until further orders vice K. Moses Chalai, IAS (MN:1990), by temporarily downgrading the post from AS level to Joint Secretary level.
(6) Appointment of Madhup Vyas, IAS (UT:2000), as Deputy Election Commissioner (DEC), Election Commission of India, for a tenure of five years, or until further orders, vice Nitesh Kumar Vyas, IAS (MP:1996).
(7) Appointment of Ajay Kumar, IP&TA&FS (1993), as Joint Secretary, Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare, for a tenure upto the date of his superannuation or until further orders vice Hariprasad Pudi, IRAS (1994).
(8) Appointment of Devesh Deval, IAS (MN:2004), as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Food Processing Industries, for a tenure of five years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, by upgrading a post of DS/Director in the Ministry to JS level.
(9) Appointment of Raghav Langer, IAS (UD:2009), as Secretary, National Medical Commission (NMC) (JS level), under the Department of Health & Family Welfare, for a combined tenure of 7 years ог until further orders, whichever is earlier vice Ms. Sandhya Bhullar, IAS (GJ:2003).

(10) Appointment of Jyoti Yadav, IAS (UD:2009), as Joint Secretary, National Health Authority (NHA), under the Department of Health & Family Welfare, for a combined tenure of 7 years or until further orders.
(11) Appointment of Prem Chandra Maurya, IRS (IT:1995), as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Heavy Industries, for a tenure upto the date of his superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier. He will repalce Mukta Shekhar, IRAS (1994).
(12) Appointment of Armstrong Pame, IAS (MN:2009), as Joint Secretary, Department of Higher Education, for an overall tenure or until further orders, whichever is earlier. He will repalce Neeta Prasad, IInfoS (1991).
(13) Appointment of Prasana R., IAS (CG:2004), as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs, for a tenure of five years, or until further orders. He will replace Ashutosh Agnihotri, IAS (AM:99).
(14) Appointment of Sushma Chauhan, IAS (UT:2009), as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs, for an overall tenure of 5 years or until further orders, whichever is earlier vice B C Joshi, IOFS (1992).
(15) Appointment of Samir Kumar, IRTS (1999), as Joint Secretary, National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) under the Ministry of Home Affairs, for a tenure of five years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier vice Anita Sinha, IRS (IT:1990).
(16) Appointment of M Ramachandrudu, IAS (BH:2009), as Director (Census Operations) (JS level), Bihar, O/o Registrar General and Census Commissioner, India, under the Ministry of Home Affairs, for an overall tenure up to 31.12.2025, or until further orders, by temporarily upgrading the post held by the officer from Director level to Joint Secretary level.
(17) Appointment of T Mithra, IAS (KL:2009), as Director (Census Operations) (JS level), Kerala, O/o Registrar General and Census Commissioner, India, Ministry of Home Affairs, for an overall tenure up to 31.12.2025, or until further orders, by temporarily upgrading the post held by the officer from Director level to Joint Secretary level.
(18) Appointment of Pradeep Kumar Jha, IAS (MN:2006), as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, for a tenure of five years, or until further orders, vice Shri Rahul Kapoor, IRAS (2002).
(19) Appointment of Isha, IAS (PB:2009), as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, for overall tenure of 5 years or until further orders, by temporarily upgrading the post held by the officer from Director level to Joint Secretary level.

(20) Appointment of Ashish Kumar, IOFS (1996), as Joint Secretary, Department of Investment & Public Asset Management, for a tenure upto the date of his superannuation on or until further orders. He will replace Rahul Jain, IAS (MP:2005).
(21) Appointment of Satya Pratap Singh, IDAS (2003), as Joint Secretary, Department of Justice, for a tenure of five years, or until further orders. He will replace Pravash Prashun Pandey, IRPS (1992).
(22) Premature repatriation of Vatsalya Saxena, IRS, (IT:1994), Chief Executive Officer (CEO) (JS level), Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to his parent cadre.
(23) Appointment of Javvadi V Naga Subramanyam, IAS (AM:2009), as Joint Secretary, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, for an overall tenure of 7 years or until further orders.
(24) Appointment of Rajesh Kulhari, IRSEE (1996), as Joint Secretary, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, for a tenure up to the date of superannuation or until further orders. He will replace Ajay Yadav, IAS(BH:2005).
(25) Appointment of Kamala Kant Tripathy, IES (1999), as Joint Secretary, Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister (EAC-PM), NITI Aayog, for a tenure five years, or until further orders. He will replace Pawan Kumar Sain, IAS (UT:2005).
(26) Appointment of Mukta Shekhar, IRAS (1994), as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Panchayati Raj, for a tenure up to the date of her superannuation or until further orders. She will repalce Vikas Anand, IAS (UT:2002).
(27) Appointment of Sushil Mansing Khopde, IPS (BH:1995), as Add. DG (JS level), Directorate General of Shipping under the Ministry Ports, Shipping & Waterways, for a tenure up to the date of his superannuation or until further orders. He will replace Kumar Sanjay Bariar IP&TA&FS (1993).
(28) Appointment of Venkatesapathy S, IAS (KL:2009), as Joint Secretary (Shipping) Dante Shinning & Waterways from the date of assumption of the charge of the post.
(29) Appointment of Aditi Singh, IAS (UP:2009), as Joint Secretary, Department of Rural Development, for an overall tenure of 5 years up to or until further orders. She will replace Charanjit Singh, IFOS (MP:1990).
