New Delhi: Shortly after a four-storey building collapsed in north Delhi's Burari area, AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal has instructed Burari MLA Sanjeev Jha and party workers to reach the spot and help rescue team.

"This incident is very sad. Our MLA from Burari, Sanjeev Jha, has been instructed to immediately reach the spoy with party workers and help the administration in relief and rescue work. Also help the local people in every possible way," former Delhi Chief Minister posted on X (formerly known as Twitter).

According to the Delhi Fire Services, the incident occurred around 6:56 pm. 

Rescue Operation on
A rescue operation has been launched to rescue the people trapped under the debris.

According to Dynamite News correspondent, the building was collapsed in Burari's Kaushik Enclave. 

10 people rescued
So far, 10 people have been rescued and around 12-15 people are still trapped, DCP (North Delhi) Raja Banthia told reporters.
