Dubai: India pacer Jasprit Bumrah on Monday was named as the ICC men's Test Cricketer of the Year for 2024.
Bumrah took 71 wkts
The pace spearhead took 71 scalps in 13 Test, ending the year as the highest wicket taker, well clear of second-placed Gus Atkinson of England (52 wkts in 11 Tests).

ICC statement
Bumrah was the standout bowler in the world in 2024, excelling in both home and away conditions and proving a key contributor in keeping India in contention in the ICC World Test Championship standings, the ICC said in a statement.
