BSP announces 5 more candidates for UP LS polls
Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) on Tuesday released its third list of five candidates for Uttar Pradesh Lok Sabha polls.
Lucknow: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) on Tuesday released its third list of five candidates for Uttar Pradesh Lok Sabha polls.
With this, BSP has announced 22 candidates of its quota of 37 in the SP-BSP-RLD alliance in the state.

According to party sources here, "Of the five candidates announced, one is from reserved seat and remaining four are general seats."

Lok Sabha polls: BSP releases its first list
The candidates are Arshad Ahmed Siddique from Dhaurara, Nakul Dubey from Sitapur, C L Verma from Mohanlalganj (reserved), Sukhdeo Prasad from Fatehpur and Chandra Deo Yadav from Kaiserganj. BSP workers had opposed the candidature of Nakul Dubey from Sitapur for being an outsider, as the leader, a former UP minister, hails from Lucknow.
BSP had released the names of 11 candidates in their first list on March 22 and six candidates in the second list announced on April 1.(UNI)
