Mumbai: Bombay High Court has dismissed the petition of MP Navneet Rana and her MLA husband Ravi Rana of quashing the FIR registered against them over the row to recite Hanuman chalisa outside the Maharashtra CM's residence.

Bombay HC also stated, "Since second FIR is registered against petitioners in the case, if the state government is desirous of initiating any action pursuant to the second FIR, the officers of state govt shall issue 72 hours notice to petitioners before taking such action."
