Mumbai: A hoax call was received at Mumbai International Airport in which an unidentified caller claimed that there was a bomb in a blue bag inside the premises of the airport, police said on Sunday.
Police said that a bomb squad team was immediately deployed after the call was received however nothing was found during the search.

"A hoax call was made to Mumbai International Airport saying there was a bomb in a blue bag at the airport, Mumbai police officer and bomb squad team reached the airport and investigation was done, nothing was found during the probe," police said.
Police said that a search for the caller is underway.

Earlier in August a hoax bomb threat was received by the Mumbai Police from an unidentified caller claiming the possibility of a blast or untoward incident at Mumbai and Delhi Domestic and International Airports.
Shortly after receiving this call, the police and other agencies got the entire airport checked but did not find anything suspicious. (ANI)
