Bihar: Three killed, one injured in road accident in West Champaran

Bettiah: Three people were killed while one sustained serious injuries under Yogapatti police station area in West Champaran district of Bihar on Sunday night.

Police said here on Monday that marriage of daughter of Devnath Prasad was to be solemnised on Sunday night and three people had gone to receive wedding party at Pipra Kachahari Tola where they had stayed. While they were on way to receive wedding party, two motorcyclists hit them who were also on their motorcycle.

All three of them, on way to receive wedding party, died while another one sustained injuries in the incident, police added.

" Bodies had been handed over to family members after postmortem", police said adding that despite tragic incident, marriage was solemnised by family members.
