Patna: Independent MP from Purnia Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav's supporters squatted at the railway tracks near Sachiwalay halt in the state capital on Friday, affecting movement of trains.

Pappu Yadav's supporters are expressing their solidarity towards the BPSC aspirants protesting for re-examination of the 70th BPSC PT.

The Chhatra Yuva Shakti (students youth brigade) associated with Yadav blocked the track under the Danapur division in Patna. The protestors climbed on the engine of a passenger train and affected its movement.

RPF action
The Railway Protection Force and the cops of Bihar Police forcibly kicked out the protesters from the down track. Following the protest, the movement of nearly 6 Trains on the up and down track was affected. Later with the help of the security personnel the movement of trains were resumed.

Meanwhile the youth leader Premchand Singh associated with Pappu Yadav, said that the agitation of the youth brigade would continue in support of the genuine rights of the BPSC aspirants. He said they would continue to block railway tracks and roads and various student wing organisations of

NSUI support
NSUI, AISA and AISF would also March towards the residence of the chief minister during the day. He alleged that the paper leak and other malpractices in the BPSC have become a phenomenon and was taking place in connivance with the ministers and the commission.

Singh said that the agitation would continue till the dumb and deaf government of double engine considered demands of the BPSC aspirants as the future of more than 4 lakh students is at stake.

Meanwhile a report from Gaya said that the supporters of Yadav demonstrated on the roads in protest against the police action on the BPSC aspirants and in the support of their demand for reconducting the 70th PT of the BPSC.

Prashant Kishor on fast unto death
Meanwhile Prashant Kishor, founder of "Jan Suraaj ", along with others including a large number of BPSC aspirants was on fast unto death dharna at Gandhi Maidan since Thursday demanding to re-conduct the 70th Preliminary Test of BPSC earlier held on December 13. They alleged that the test conducted was marred by a series of irregularities including paper leak.

The administration since last night was warning Kishor to shift his dharna from Gandhi Maidan to Gardanibagh locality in Patna, saying it is illegal as the place is a prohibited area for such activities.

Meanwhile, the dharna, fast and protest of the BPSC aspirants in support of their demand for reexamination of the 70th PT was going on at Gardanibagh since December 18.

The protestors were later brutally baton charged and sprayed water through canons on the spine chilling night of December 29 in the state capital. Lathi charge was also resorted on the students marching towards the BPSC office on December 25 in the state capital.

Other leaders in support
Besides Prashant Kishor, Pappu Yadav the RJD leader Tejaswi Yadav, Congress and left party leaders have extended their support to the demands of the BPSC aspirants. The MLAs of Congress and left parties had also taken out a march to Rajabhawan and had handed over a memorandum to the Governor in this connection.

As it is the BPSC aspirants protesting by organising sit-ins at Patna’s Gardanibagh area had called on the chief secretary and handed over him a memorandum in support of their demand.
