Hajipur: The Dalit Sena leader, Rakesh Paswan, was shot dead in his house by four assailants on Thursday in the Panchdhamiya area of Lal Ganj police station.

The incident took place in the evening when Rakesh Paswan, was busy with preparations for Ambedkar Jayanti celebrations in the Panchdhamiya area.

Sources reveal, four men arrived at his house and touched his feet before opening fire on him, killing him on the spot.

The incident has caused grief and panic in the area. The DM and SP reached there and consoled Rakesh's supporters and family members.
