Bihar: Boat capsized in Ganga at Katihar; 3 drown, 10 missing

Katihar: At least three people met their watery grave whereas 10 others were missing when a boat ferrying them capsized in river Ganga under Ahmedabad police station area here on Sunday morning.

Agriculture activities
According to police several people were crossing the river by the boat for agriculture activities in Gadai river in area.

Suddenly the boat became unbalanced and capsized mid stream.

Ahmedabad primary Health Center
Police said that four people were finished out and admitted at Ahmedabad primary Health Center. The deceased could not be identified as yet. The bodies have been sent for postmortem.

Rescue operation underway 
Senior administrative and police officers were monitoring the rescue operation.
