Dubai: In a big set back to Indian team ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy final, India star batter Virat Kohli got injured during practice session, according to media reports 

Geo News, a Pakistani news channel, reported that the star India batter was struck on his knee while facing a fast bowler during the practice session. 

Subsequently, he stopped batting and didn't return to the nets.

Indian physio staff quickly applied spray and wrapped up the affected area with a bandage. Despite being hit, Kohli did not leave the ground and kept watching other players practicing. 

Indian coaching staff later said the right-handed batsman will be fit to play the final.
