Murshidabad: Preliminary reports suggest the involvement of Bangladeshi miscreants in the recent violence in Murshidabad, where anti-CAA protests turned violent.

Sources indicate that local TMC leaders allegedly used Bangladeshi elements, which were earlier subservient to them, but later lost control over them, to fuel protests against the CAA, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
The violence, which erupted last Friday and Saturday, left three dead, over 150 injured, and hundreds homeless. The MHA has taken serious cognizance of the matter and has sought a detailed report.
However, the situation spiraled out of control, with these miscreants going berserk across the district. Earlier, the BJP alleged that the protests were politically motivated, and these new reports appear to support their claims. The administration is now under scrutiny for failing to contain the unrest.
It raises serious national security concerns if reports get confirmed, especially regarding illegal cross-border elements influencing law and order in West Bengal.
