New Delhi: Days after Atul Subhash's wife Nikita Singhania and her family members were arrested, the mother of the techie has filed a habeas corpus in the Supreme Court seeking the custody of her four-year-old grandson.
SC Issues Notices to State Govts
A bench of Justice BV Nagarathna and Justice N Kotiswar Singh issued notices to Haryana, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh's governments to seek their response on the matter. The matter was posted for January 7, 2025 for further proceeding.

Atul Family Expresses Concern
Atul family has expressed their concern for the four-year-old child’s safety, saying they do not know about the whereabouts of the child.
Family members of Nikita
Nikita Singhania (29), her mother Nisha (54), and brother Anurag (27) were taken into custody by Bengaluru police under charges of abetment to suicide last Sunday.
While Nikita was arrested in Gurugram, her mother and brother were picked up in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. All three were flown to Bengaluru and currently they are in judicial custody.
