Atishi writes letter to Rekha Gupta; Seeks meeting on financial aid scheme for women

New Delhi: Ex-Delhi Chief Minister and Kalkaji MLA Atishi has written to current Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, seeking a meeting with AAP's legislative group over the Rs 25000 scheme for women.

Congratulating her on assuming charge as CM, Atishi urged her to meet the AAP legislative delegation on February 23 to discuss the implementation of the scheme for women, which Prime Minister Narendra Modi promised during a election rally.

The meeting is sought to discuss the non-approval of BJP's guarantee of Rs 2,500 to Delhi women in the state's first cabinet meeting. 
        
Earlier on Friday, Atishi held a press conference, raising the question on BJP's commitment to its promises, particularly the Rs 2,500 financial assistance scheme for women.
