Atishi among 12 AAP MLAs expelled from Delhi Assembly

New Delhi: Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta on Tuesday suspended 12 AAP MLAs, including Leader of Opposition Atishi, from the House for the day for raising slogans during Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena's address.

Ex-Delhi Minister Gopal Rai, Veer Singh Dhingan, Mukesh Ahlawat, Chaudhary Zubair Ahmed, Anil Jha, Vishesh Ravi and Jarnail Singh are amomng those MLAs who were suspended by the Speaker.
The AAP MLAs were raising slogans against Delhi government, accusing it of removing BR Ambedkar's portrait and replaced it with PM Narendra Modi's photo.
