At least 5 people were injured after 4-5 vehicles collided with each other on the Yamuna Expressway near Baldeo in Mathura, on Wednesday morning due to heavy fog.

A senior police official said five people were injured in the collision, adding that two of them are in critical condition. The incident took place around 8am when a car, heading towards Agra suddenly broke down thus coming to a halt in the middle of the road which led to the other vehicles behind it ramming into it one after another. Around 5-6 vehicles piled up in the accident.

Senior police official said all the injured people have been shifted to a nearby hospital and damaged vehicles have been removed from the road to allow for smooth movement traffic. (UNI)
