New Delhi: The stir regarding the assembly elections in Maharashtra and Jharkhand is increasing. It is seen that today the Election Commission can announce the election dates. 

Before this, Eknath Shinde government and Hemant Soren government are taking many such decisions one after the other which can affect the elections.

As per Dynamite News correspondent, after the Haryana and Jammu Kashmir assembly elections, now everyone's eyes are fixed on the assembly elections to be held in Maharashtra and Jharkhand.

In this episode, the Mahayuti alliance will hold a press conference today, while the Congress will also have an important meeting regarding election preparations. This meeting will be with the inspectors appointed for election preparations.

Eknath Shinde government has first announced OBC reservation, then Ladli Behan Yojana and now another big announcement. The government has removed the toll for light vehicles from all the five toll nakas entering Mumbai.

Government's big decision on Mainiya Samman Yojana
At the same time, the Hemant Soren government has announced to increase the amount in the Mainiya Samman Yojana. In this scheme, women used to get an amount of one thousand rupees every month, which has been increased to Rs 2500 per month. The proposal related to this was approved in the cabinet meeting held on Monday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Hemant Soren.

According to the information, the term of the government is ending on 26 November in Maharashtra and on 29 December in Jharkhand. 

Every time the commission implements the code of conduct 45 days before the end of the term of the government. However, if we look at the tenure of the Maharashtra government, now only 40 days are left. This is the reason why speculations have started in political circles regarding the announcement of elections.

Dates will be announced keeping in mind Diwali and Chhath

Let us tell you that the Election Commission will announce the dates keeping in mind many festivals. Diwali is from 29 October to 3 November and Chhath Puja is celebrated in Jharkhand. During this time, Bihari voters working in Maharashtra go to their homes.

Dev Deepawali is also in November. Therefore, the Election Commission can start the elections at the end of the second week of November.
