New Delhi: The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Friday announced the election dates of the 90-member assembly of Jammu and Kashmir, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

Poll dates
Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar said polls in J&K will be held in three phases on September 18, September 25, and October 1 and the counting of votes will be done on October 4.

Abrogation of Article 370
After the abrogation of Article 370, the bugle of assembly election has been sounded in J&K.

The Election Commission recently visited Jammu and Kashmir to take stock of the election preparations.
