Lucknow: Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati on Monday expelled her nephew Akash Anand from the party a day after he was removed from all party posts.
His father-in-law Ashok Sidharth is being said to be the reason behind the expelsion of Akash Anand.

Mayawati stated that the reason for expelling Akash Anand from the party was his lack of political maturity, as evident from his lengthy response. According to Mayawati, Akash's behavioy was mostly driven by selfihness, arrogance, and a non-missionary approach, largely influenced by his father-in-law.
