Arms smuggler arrested in Rajasthan
Rajasthan Police Thursday claimed to have arrested an arms smuggler in Rajasthan's Dausa district and seized 12 high quality firearms from him.
Jaipur: Rajasthan Police Thursday claimed to have arrested an arms smuggler in Rajasthan's Dausa district and seized 12 high quality firearms from him.
The accused, Ajeet Gurjar (27), was nabbed by a team of Special Operations Group personnel at the Mahuwa bypass area, police said.

"27 firearms, including seven country-made pistols and five long barrel guns, which appear to be high quality weapons, were recovered from the possession of Gurjar who was going to hand over the firearms to some other smuggler," Additional Director General (ADG) of SOG and ATS Umesh Mishra said.

He was arrested under provisions of the Arms Act and was being interrogated, Mishra added. (PTI)
