"We request Congress and other parties to let House function. It seems Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi don't believe in democracy. They speak outside on democracy, but don't practice it in Parliament. Congress doesn't have democracy in their genes," Kumar said after the Parliamentary Board meeting" BJP Parliamentary Board meeting.

Kumar informed that all important issues have been included in the list of business during the meeting.
"We have also issued a three-line whip to all our MPs. We request all the parties to let the Parliament function and discuss constructively," he added.

This comes in the backdrop of the continued protests being carried out by Opposition parties in the Parliament that have stalled proceedings in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
Earlier in the day, it was reported that Rajya Sabha would be adjourned till 2:00 p.m. and Lok Sabha would be adjourned till Wednesday. (ANI)
