Amul and Mother Dairy hike liquid milk prices by Rs 2/ litre

New Delhi/Anand: Mother Dairy and The Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), which markets Amul brand on Tuesday increased the liquid milk prices by Rs 2/litre with effect from Wednesday.
While the new prices will be applicable for all milk variants of Mother Dairy, Amul has increased the prices of its Gold, Taaza and Shakti milk brands only.

For 500 ml, Amul Gold will now cost ₹ 31, Amul Taaza ₹ 25, and Amul Shakti ₹ 28 in Ahmedabad and Saurashtra markets, said Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation.

Mother Dairy said its price revision will be applicable for all its milk variants - full cream milk will now cost ₹ 61 per litre, toned milk ₹ 51, and double toned ₹ 45. Bulk vended milk (token milk) will now cost ₹ 48, up from ₹ 46 per litre.
