Akhilesh Yadav slams Yogi Adityanath over Karni Sena's attack on SP MP's house

Kannauj: Hours after Karni Sena vandalized the residence of Samajwadi Party Rajya Sabha MP Ramji Lal Suman in Agra, Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday demanded that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath take action in the matter, saying 'failure to do so will imply that it all happened with his permission'.

"When the violent incident of vandalism at the house of a PDA MP by some people could not be stopped even in the presence of the Chief Minister in Agra, then zero tolerance has to be zero. 

"Is the Chief Minister's sphere of influence decreasing day by day or is no one listening to the 'outgoing CM' now? If he is still the Chief Minister, then take immediate action and identify the culprits with the help of AI and punish them, otherwise it will be assumed that all this against the PDA MP has happened with his permission," former Uttar Pradesh CM Akhilesh Yadav wrote on X in Hindi.

Earlier in the day, Karni Sena ransacked the SP Rajya Sabha MP Ramji Lal Suman's residence over his comment on Rajput ruler Rana Sanga.

Akhilesh, who was in Kannauj today, said Ramji Lal Suman's house was attacked because he is a Dalit.
