New Delhi: Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav initiated with his homage to martyrs of the terrorist attack on Parliament. He also paid his homage to the Constitution maker Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

During the discussion on the Constitution, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav said that we have got a great Constitution. The Constitution has kept different people united. Baba Saheb Ambedkar had said that the success of the Constitution will depend on how we follow it.

The former UP Chief Minister also made a big promise in Parliament during the discussion. He said that when he and his government come to power, they will conduct caste census in the country.

He said that the Constitution becomes our shield from time to time and protects us. The constitution has always kept the ethnic diversity of the country united and tied it in the thread of unity.

Akhilesh Yadav said that the economy of our country is growing rapidly, but on the other hand 82 crore people are living on government food. Some families have a share of 2 thirds of the country's assets. In such a situation, the government should tell what is the per capita income of the lower class of the country? If the government releases these figures, the situation will become clear.

'Our borders are shrinking'
The SP chief said that protecting the borders is the first duty. In a country where the security of the borders is breached from time to time and our honorable minister knows better that the borders are shrinking at many places.

'People were prevented from casting their votes'
The SP Chief accused the government that many people were prevented from casting their votes in UP. Those who were going to cast their votes were intimidated.
