New Delhi: Air India Express has announced that it will start flights from Ghaziabad's Hindon Airport also, which will make it the only carrier to operate from two airports in the National Capital Region (NCR), the other one being the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI).
Starting 1 March 2025, this expansion will bring direct flights from Hindon to Bengaluru, Goa, and Kolkata.

Flights frequency
The flights to-from Hindon-Bengaluru and to-from Hindon-Goa will be twice daily except Saturdays.
At the same time flights to-from Hindon-Kolkata will also be twice daily but one out of these two will be except Saturdays.
The new route will provide quicker access for passengers travelling from Bengaluru, Goa, and Kolkata to the heart of the NCR.
