9 out of 11 new members from UP take oath of Rajya Sabha membership

New Delhi: Out of 57 newly elected members of the Upper House, 27 newly elected members took oath of Rajya Sabha membership on Friday. Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu administered the oath of membership to the members.

Of those who took oath today, nine members are from Uttar Pradesh. Two members elected from UP could not take oath on Friday.
