Bureaucracy: 52 IPS officers get promotions in Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow: In a significant development in Uttar Pradesh, a total of 52 IPS officers were promoted on the New Year eve, reports Dynamite News reporter.
IPS officer Deepesh Juneja
Deepesh Juneja, a 1992 batch officer, was elevated to the prestigious rank of Director General (DG).

2000 batch
Three officers, Lakshmi Singh, Prashant Kumar, and Nilabja Choudhury, belong to 2000 IPS batch, were promoted to the esteemed position of Additional Director General (ADG).
2007 batch
Meanwhile, total nine 2007 batch IPS officers were elevated from Deputy Inspector General (DIG) to Inspector General (IG).
2011 batch
A total of 25 officers from the 2011 batch were promoted from Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) to DIG.
