4 killed, several injured as speeding dumper hits autorickshaw in Raebareli

Raebareli: Four people were killed and 8 others injured after a speeding dumper rammed into an autorickshaw in Uttar Pradesh's Raebareli district, police said on Monday. 

According to Dynamite News correspondent, the accident occured near Gangapur Baras village in Lalganj police station area. 

The dumper was coming to Lalganj from Raebareli while the auto carrying passengers was going from Lalganj to Raebareli

During this, both the vehicles collided violently. The collison was so severe that the auto left mangled. The injured in the accident have been admitted to the hospital. On receiving the information of the accident, police from several police stations immediately reached the spot and are investigating the matter.

The auto was carrying a total of 12 people. Toatl people have been injured in the tragic accident.

Ram Kumar, an eyewitness to the incident, said that an auto was going from Lalganj to Raebareli with passengers. During this time, a high speed dumper hit the auto from the front.

Lalganj police station in-charge Sanjay Kumar Singh said that four people have died in the incident. The deceased have not been identified yet. Police is trying to ascertain the identity of the deceased.
