Saurashtra: An earthquake of magnitude 3.4 on the Richter scale hit Talala town in Gujarat's Saurashtra region on Wednesday afternoon, officials said.

According to the Gujarat State Disaster Management Authority (GSDMA), the 3.4-magnitude earthquake struck Talala in Saurashtra at 15:18 hours today.

The epicentre of the earthquake was located 12 km north-northeast of Talala in Saurashtra, the GSDMA said.
