Andhra Pradesh: At least 20 passengers were injured when a bus they were travelling in collided with an electric pole in Chilakaluripet mandal of Andhra Pradesh's Palanadu district, police said on Saturday.

According to officials, the bus belonging to Kamakshi travels was coming from Hyderabad and going to Kandukur.

Around 40 passengers were on board when the bus collided with the electric pole, police said, adding that 20 of them sustained injuries in the incident.

There were no casualty reported in the incident, they added.

Injured passengers have shifted to a government hospital in Chilakaluripet and Narasaraopet government hospital.

Police were further looking into the incident, more details are awaited.
