Several Joint Secretary-Level Officers have been appointed in the Central government on Saturday. Read the full report of Dynamite News:

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the following appointments of officers at Joint Secretary and Joint Secretary equivalent level.

1) Petal Dhillon, IRTS (2002) appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce, for a tenure of five years. He will replace Anant Swarup, IRPS (1992).

(2) Abhinav Gupta, IRS (C&IT) (2004), appointed as Add. DG, Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), New Delhi, for a tenure of five years, replacing S. C. Agarwal, IRS (C&IT:94).

(3) Santosh Kumar Verma, IRSS (1995), appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Consumer Affairs, for a period of five years. He set to replace Vineet Mathur, IPOS (1994).

(4) Samar Nanda, IRS (C&IT) (2004), appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Culture, for a tenure of five years. Samar Nanda will replace  Mugdha Sinha, IAS (RJ:99).

(5) D Anandan, IAS (SK:2000), apponited as Joint Secretary, Department of Expenditure, for a period of five years. The IAS officer will relace Amit Singh Negi, IAS (UD:99).

(6) Madhu Rani Teotia, IAS (UT:2008), appointed as Addl. CEO (JS level). National Health Authority (NHA), under the Department of Health & Family Welfare, for a combined tenure of 7 years. She will replace Basant Garg, IAS (PB:2005).

(7) Sanjay Mehrishi, IOFS (1991), named as Joint Secretary, National Health Authority (NHA), for a period of two years.

(8) Vijay Nehra, IAS (GJ:2001), named as Joint Secretary, Department of Health & Family Welfare, for tenure of five years. The IAS officer will take replace P Ashok Babu, IAS (AM:2003).

(9) Praveer Kumar, IA&AS (1999), appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, for a tenure of five years. He has been named as  Joint Secretary in place of Deepak Agarwal, IAS (UP:2000). 

(10) Ajay Nagabhushan Mn, IAS (KN:2004), appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, for a tenure of five years.

(11) Sanjay Chilwarwar, IRSSE (1997), appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, for a tenure upto the date of his superannuation on 31.08.2029. He will replace Lalit Bohra, IRTS (1998). 

(12) Udit Agrawal, IAS (GJ:2008), appointed as Joint Director, Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie, for a tenure of five years.  He was named in place of Radhika Rastogi, IAS (MH:1995).

(13) Pankaj Kumar, ITS (1991), as Joint Secretary (Logistics), Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade, for a tenure upto the date of his superannuation on 31.10.2028. He will replace V. Radha, IAS (MH:1994). 

(14) Vikas Anand, IAS (UT:2002), as CEO (JS level), National Land Monetization Corporation (NLMC) for an overall tenure of five years upto 16.02.2028

(15) Rajesh Lakhani, IAS (TN:1992), as Commissioner (JS level), Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) under the Department of School Education & Literacy, for a tenure upto the date of his superannuation on 31.05.2029. The IAS officer will replace Vinayak Garg. IRSEE(1995). 

(16) Shankari Murali, lCAS (1991), as Joint Secretary & FA, Department of Space, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure upto the date of her superannuation on 28.02.2027. 

(17) Manish Thakur, IAS (AM:1998), as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Tribal Affairs for a tenure of five years. He will replace R. Jaya, IAS (TN:1995).
