15-year-old boy shot at in northeast Delhi

New Delhi: A 15-year-old boy was shot at by a man in northeast Delhi's Welcome area, police said on Saturday. 

According to Dynamite News correspondent, the incident occurred in B-Block of the area on Friday night.

Police reached the spot after getting information. They found that the victim's father had already taken the teenager to Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital. 

According to the complaint filed by the injured boy's father,  the accused came and started abusing him. Subsequently, the accused fired at the boy. The bullet struck his right leg.

Case lodged
A case under relevant section of the BNS and the Arms Act has been registered at the Seelampur police station. 

Manhunt launched
